Thula Mamas

By Huckleberry Films, Jul 20 2013 12:00AM

Choral mistress Ailsa Nicholson runs a group called 'Thula Mamas' in Clitheroe. Mothers with babies meet weekly to sing together, and no specific singing experience or audition is required to join.

One of the group members Kristen had an idea/dream about the women all singing in the river near where they meet, choosing the beautiful song 'Down in the river' from the 'O brother where art thou' soundtrack. We were delighted to be approached to film the singing adventure, and it was a really lovely experience, listening to the group as they sang in and by the river.
