Working with Huckleberry Films has been a great experience for Mid Pennine Arts. We recently commissioned them to work with groups of young people in Hyndburn, Pendle and Burnley, producing a documentary for Project Pride, a Heritage Lottery funded community engagement programme.
Caroline and David work really well together, and were full of creative ideas for the project and for getting the young people involved. Importantly in a project like this they were also very reliable, turning up on time to scheduled events and meetings and delivering work to agreed deadlines.
They took a real interest in the project as a whole, and the passion they share for what they do shines through in the quality of the filmmaking they produce. The young people really enjoyed working with them, and loved seeing their work captured on film, as did we.
Huckleberry Films filmed and edited a ten minute film about Lytham and produced an end product that we at Lytham in Bloom were delighted with. David and Caroline were both extremely responsive, flexible and reliable and produced the film on time to a tight deadline.
I have no hesitation in recommending Huckleberry Films and would certainly use them for future projects.
Huckleberry Films bring an energy and creativity to your project which translates into a creatively unique and professional finished product.
PROSPECTS Foundation
It was such a pleasure to work with Huckleberry films. From the first phone call to discuss the brief, right through to the delivery of the project, the team we're professional, fun, and extremely creative.
We had a good idea of what the end result should achieve but the Huckleberry team we're always giving creative input and doing what they do best! We're looking forward to working with them again in the near future.
Huckleberry Films have worked with our young people to create films such as Wicked Woods, The Great Cake Caper and Ysbyty Ifan.
The young people really enjoy working with Caroline and David, and they have learned so many filmmaking skills from them, that they are now undertaking an Arts Award.
I'd highly recommend their work.
